Chapel's Birthday •
During my internship at Elevation Church, I had the privilege of designing for Elevation Young Adults. One of my favorite projects was developing the full visual identity for Chapel’s birthday celebration, which featured special guest Lizzie Morgan from Red Worship. The creative direction was simply “cool girl birthday,” along with a few reference images of the Chapel Cake that immediately set the tone for the project. I built the concept around vintage photography, a nostalgic color palette, and playful typography. I was also onsite the day of the event, providing graphic support and making last-minute updates to ensure every element was perfect. This remains one of my most meaningful projects—not only because of the aesthetic, but because I designed every asset displayed that night.
Handout:
This 4x4” handout was distributed to Young Adults after worship experiences on Sunday mornings. Its compact design made it easy for attendees to quickly scan and RSVP for the upcoming event.
socials:
Social media was a key channel for Elevation Young Adults to promote the event. These posts maintained the “cool girl birthday” aesthetic while using creative typography to present all essential information clearly.
Screen support included name lower-thirds, scripture layouts, and marketing slides. These assets were used in the pre-service loop and again during closing announcements to inform young adults of events, apparel, and more.
Screen Support:
Because this was the one-year birthday of Chapel, the Young Adults Pastor wanted to honor the gatherings that came before it. To do this, we created posters inspired by concert posters, highlighting the details of each previous Chapel and showcasing any special guests who had been part of those moments.
