During my internship at Elevation Church, I had the opportunity to photograph a Young Adults event, Chapel Nights. This marked my second Elevation event that I had the privilege of photographing. The environment presented a new challenge, as the smaller crowd size differed from previous events I had covered. This allowed me to study the space more intentionally—identifying new angles, compositions, and how the room visually shifted with fewer people compared to Elevation Young Adults’ larger event, Chapel.

With a greater emphasis on community and small-group interaction, my focus shifted toward capturing authentic, intimate moments in a natural and engaging way. This experience helped strengthen my ability to adapt to different environments while telling the story of the event through candid, people-centered imagery.
