Chapel Nights

Chapel Nights • Oct. 2 •

During my internship at Elevation Church, I had the opportunity to design for Elevation Young Adults. The December 4 Chapel Nights marked my first time designing for this event. With guidance from my supervisor, the project was both collaborative and exciting to work on. The Chapel Nights branding had already been established, and I enjoyed designing within its framework—leveraging its visual language and creative constraints to produce cohesive, on-brand assets.

Handout:

This 4x4” handout was distributed to Young Adults after worship experiences on Sunday mornings. Its compact design made it easy for attendees to quickly scan and RSVP for the upcoming event.

Social media was a key channel for promoting the event within Elevation Young Adults. These designs maintained the established Chapel Nights aesthetic while incorporating creative typography to clearly and effectively communicate all essential event information.

Screen support included name lower-thirds, scripture layouts, and marketing slides. These assets were utilized in the pre-service loop and again during closing announcements to inform young adults about upcoming events, apparel, and other key initiatives.

Many of these screen support assets were also implemented by additional Elevation campuses across the East Coast and in Toronto that same night, where Chapel Nights were hosted live on-site rather than streamed from the main YA campus at Elevation Uptown.

The message slide screen support titled “Positioned for Presence” was conceptually tied to Elevation Young Adults’ upcoming Thursday night sermon series, “Read Into It.” This intentional connection positioned Chapel Nights as a natural extension of what would be a smaller teaching series and reinforced visual and thematic continuity across events.

These posters were used to decorate the lobbies of the various campuses participating in Chapel Nights. They added an extra layer of intentionality to the environment, elevating the lobby experience and reinforcing the overall visual identity through thoughtful, detail-oriented design.
