My first large-scale project for Red Rocks Church was developing the graphics package for a weekend experience sermon series. The brief was to visually adapt Doug Wekenman’s new book, What Does God Have Planned for Me Next?, into a cohesive visual system that could be carried across the weekend experience. The goal was to translate the themes of the book into engaging, versatile graphics that felt consistent with the Red Rocks Church brand while giving the series its own distinct visual identity.
Inspo:
The original book cover served as the primary visual inspiration for this project. I wanted to pull from its existing visual language while expanding the concept into a broader system that could work across the entire weekend experience. The cover helped establish the initial direction for the typography, composition, and overall visual tone, creating a strong foundation for the graphics package.
I also designed a custom thumbnail for a podcast episode that was included as an exclusive resource for those who pre-ordered the book. The goal was to create a visual that felt connected to the overall book campaign while still standing on its own as a piece of digital content. I focused on clear typography, strong visual hierarchy, and a design that would immediately communicate the episode and its connection to the book.

Screen Support:
Screen support included lower thirds, side thirds, and full screen template graphics to create a cohesive visual experience. I also developed a walk-in look for the LED wall, along with welcome and goodbye variations to support the event from start to finish.
Because each campus has LED walls with different dimensions and aspect ratios, I adapted and recreated each visual look to fit the various screen sizes. This ensured the designs maintained their intended composition, hierarchy, and impact across every campus.

Countdown:
Part of the screen support included creating a five-minute countdown for preservice. The countdown was designed to build anticipation and create a clear visual cue for the audience as they prepared for the service to begin, while staying consistent with the overall visual direction of the experience.
