Every church starts somewhere, and I had the privilege of helping document the early days of Oakwood Community Church, a new church plant in West Des Moines. Ahead of its public launch in August 2026, I joined one of their pre-launch gatherings with the founding members and captured the beginning of a special community taking shape.
